In a narcotics sales arrest announced Friday night, Citrus Heights police said two suspects were arrested along with the seizure of a loaded handgun and drugs.
Police said detectives with the Citrus Heights Police Department’s Special Investigations Unit made contact with the suspects in a vehicle on the 6000 block of Greenback Lane and arrested Winston Anthony Sims, 34, and Michael Anthony Romias, 25.
Pictures of the two men were posted on the department’s social media pages Friday night, accompanied by an image of a handgun, 10 rounds of ammunition, and two plastic bags apparently filled with cocaine. Police said one ounce of cocaine was seized, along with an unspecified amount of cash and a .45 caliber handgun that was concealed and loaded.
Sacramento County Superior Court records indicate Romias was previously charged with a drug-related felony in December 2016, along with two concealed weapons charges.
