A 39-year-old man from Citrus Heights has been arrested as an arson suspect in a house fire that authorities say was deliberately set last month.
According to a report on Friday by CBS Sacramento, the May 26 fire, which occurred west of Woodland in Yolo County, was investigated by sheriff’s deputies and determined to have been deliberately set. A detailed description of the suspect was provided to authorities, who then located the man within a mile of the fire, according to the news outlet.
The suspect, Afra Mani, was arrested on arson charges and booked into the Yolo County Jail.
