Abandoned rabbits near library causing concern
CBS 13 reported Monday that a local animal rescue group is raising concern about abandoned rabbits near Sylvan Oaks Library in Citrus Heights. A representative from an area rescue group said her team has rescued more than 90 rabbits from the site. (See full story)
Obituary: Ben William Gilmore (1929-2023)
Citrus Heights resident Ben Gilmore passed away on March 30 at the age of 93. According to his obituary, Gilmore is remembered for his work with Youth With a Mission and his later work teaching principles of American Government. He leaves behind his wife, several children, four grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A celebration of life will be held April 13 at 1:30 p.m. at Destiny Church, in Rocklin. (See full obituary)
