No arrests made in shooting death of MVHS student
ABC 10 reported Monday that no arrests have been made yet in the shooting death of a 17-year-old Mesa Verde High School student who was gunned down in a May 28 incident in Carmichael. The news outlet quoted a family friend remembering the life of the student, Antonio Rocha. (See video)

Fatal collision shuts down Antelope Road on-ramp
The westbound on-ramp from Antelope Road onto Interstate 80- was closed for at least 30 minutes on Friday morning, as the California Highway Patrol investigated a fatal motorcycle collision that occurred at the location. The Citrus Heights Police Department sent out a media advisory about the incident at 10:30 a.m. on June 10. (See Fox40 story)

Duplex catches fire in Citrus Heights
Firefighters responded to an early morning blaze at a duplex on Talbot Way near Old Auburn Road on Friday, according to CBS 13. No injuries were reported, but fire crews rescued two dogs and a cat from the home. (See video)
