Spring Carnival returning to Citrus Heights this month

Sentinel staff report–
The parking lot of Sunrise Mall will once again be home to the Midway of Fun traveling carnival, beginning this Friday and continuing through May 1.

The carnival, put on by Brass Ring Amusements, typically appears each spring and fall, but was cancelled during the coronavirus pandemic.

In prior years, rides have included a 130-foot-tall “Star Tower,” Century Wheel, a “Carousel Super Slide,” and other rides for both kids and adults. Rides are only for children who are at least 36 inches in height.

According to hours posted at www.midwayoffun.com, the carnival’s first day will be this Friday, April 22, from 4-10 p.m. Subsequent hours will be Saturday-Sunday from 1-10 p.m. and Monday-Friday from 4-10 p.m.

Tickets run $30 for unlimited rides when purchased online. Individual tickets can also be purchased separately.
