Sentinel staff report–
The parking lot of Sunrise Mall will once again be home to the Midway of Fun traveling carnival, beginning this Friday and continuing through Oct. 24, 2021.
The carnival, put on by Brass Ring Amusements, typically appears each spring and fall, but was cancelled last year during the coronavirus pandemic.
Brass Ring Amusements did not respond to an email request on Tuesday inquiring about which rides will be set up this year. In prior years, rides have included a 130-foot-tall “Star Tower,” Century Wheel, a “Carousel Super Slide,” and other rides for both kids and adults.
According to hours posted at www.midwayoffun.com, the carnival will be open:
Friday, Oct. 15, from 4-10 p.m.
Sat-Sun, Oct. 16-17, from 1-10 p.m.
Monday, Oct. 18, closed.
Tues-Fri, Oct. 19-22, 4-10 p.m.
Sat-Sun, Oct. 23-24, 1-10 p.m.
Tickets run $30 for unlimited rides when purchased online. Individual tickets can also be purchased separately.
