Citrus Heights Police Logs: toe ring, assault, massage trouble

Latest local police logs include reports of a woman having her toe ring stolen by an employee during a pedicure, a large number of people fighting outside a bar on Auburn Boulevard, and a man being chased out of a massage parlor.

The following is a summary of select incidents listed in the Citrus Heights Police Department’s daily incident bulletins for Sunday, May 12, 2019. More recent incident logs were not available, as of May 25.

Sunday, May 12, 2019: Total of 75 incidents listed.
Incident report categories of note: 12 calls regarding suspicious activities, 24 disturbance-related, 6 homeless/transient-related, 2 grand thefts, 4 petty thefts, 3 burglaries, 8 assault reports, 6 collisions, 1 stolen vehicle, and 2 reports of domestic violence.

12:58 a.m., Assault, 7440 Club on Auburn Blvd. Police were notified by a caller that there were “50 people fighting” outside the 7440 Club.

1:14 a.m., Disturbance Verbal, Ranch Motel on Auburn Blvd. A transient individual was reportedly going door to door knocking on motel doors in the middle of the night.

7:14 a.m., Vandalism, Slippery Creek Ln. A resident reported that their garage door had been vandalized with spray paint.

11:35 a.m., Homeless Camp, Hespera Way. Large homeless camps were reportedly set up along a trail in the nature preserve area behind Costco.

11:58 a.m., Petty Theft, Kohls on San Juan Ave. A shoplifter reportedly walked out of Kohls with a $90 pair of Nike shoes.

12:41 p.m., Suspicious Circumstances, Village Wy/Madison. Police were advised that “a bunch of iPhone boxes” were scattered in a parking lot behind the Sunrise Village shopping center.

1:08 p.m., Suspicious Circumstances, Birdcage Village Apartments on Birdcage St. A female was reportedly banging on an apartment door saying that “people inside are being stabbed and they’re hurting her children.” No further information was listed in the log.

1:23 p.m., Petty Theft, Elite Salon & Spa on Greenback Ln. An employee was accused of stealing a customer’s diamond toe ring after a pedicure.

1:28 p.m., Burglary, Summerplace Drive. A garage and trailer in the northwest area of the city were reportedly broken in overnight, with various tools being stolen.

2:58 p.m., Domestic Violence, Spring Creek Apartments on Greenback Ln. A caller told police that his girlfriend had slapped him.

4:25 p.m., Suspicious Circumstances, Best 1 Spa on Sunrise Blvd. After getting a massage, a man said a female had chased him out of the business to his vehicle and was yelling at him.

5:58 p.m., Disturbance Verbal, Auburn/Twin Oaks. A woman was reportedly seen “dragging a juvenile by the neck,” while walking along the street near Auburn Boulevard and Twin Oaks Avenue.
