During the city council’s Oct. 12 council meeting, city staff unveiled the Top 20 best photos of Citrus Heights. Community submissions were accepted via social media, with the top 20 photos compiled by city staff as part of the city’s 20th anniversary celebration of cityhood.
Photos range from a black and white photo taken decades ago up to photos taken this year. Images includes goats grazing outside city hall, an archive photo of an old Greenback Lane street sign, and various photos from local events and around-town sights.
The city has been unveiling a new “Top 20” list for each month during 2017, with prior lists including the Top 20 oldest businesses and the Top 20 longest residents of the city.
Slide images and additional information about some of the photos making it to October’s Top 20 list can be viewed on the city’s website.
