
Citrus Heights police initiated a Silver Alert notification early Tuesday morning, after a 57-year-old Citrus Heights resident was reported missing.
According to a police news release, resident Anthony Aka was reported missing Tuesday by a family member and was last seen on May 8 at 10:30 a.m., possibly wearing a dark colored shirt. Aka is described as a black male adult, 5 feet 8 inches tall, and 190 pounds.
After an investigation, authorities determined an alert should be initiated using the Silver Alert system — a public notification system used to broadcast information about missing persons, especially seniors with mental disabilities, dementia, or Alzheimer’s Disease.
Anyone with information about Aka’s location is asked to contact the Citrus Heights Police Department at (916) 727-5500.
