Citrus Heights happenings this week are rather quiet, although concluding the past week with several large events like the City’s annual Red, White & Blue Parade and a Summer Carnival at Sunrise Mall. With little on the immediate schedule, here’s a preview of some upcoming events to look out for in July:
July 11-12 – The annual Citrus Heights Community Camp Out will be held at Rusch Park, featuring overnight camping Saturday night and an on-site breakfast Sunday morning. (Click for additional info).
July 13-29 – The California Dream professional tennis team will be playing several home games at a stadium set up in the Sunrise Mall parking lot. Games are scheduled for July 13, 14, 17, 18, 21, 23 and 29, beginning at 7:30 p.m. (See team website for more).
July 25 – The Citrus Heights Police Department will host its annual Traffic Safety Day & Police Motorcycle Skills Challenge, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Sunrise Mall parking lot. The free event will include demonstrations, kids activities and a police motorcycle competition course. (Learn more).
