Dogs of all shapes and sizes competed at the Splash Dogs pool jump competition in Citrus Heights, Saturday.
Although most dogs jumped right in after their owners tossed a toy into the pool, the dog in this video eagerly –but hesitantly– perched on the ledge over the water before taking the big leap.
The competition was part of the annual Pet-a-Palazoo event on April 26, 2014 at Rusch Park in Citrus Heights, California.
